Marit Slåstuen

Marit Kyte Slåstuen is a physiotherapist who graduated from Oslo university collage in 2011. She has work experience from specialist and municipal health services.
In 2013, Marit started her Master degree in sports physiotherapy at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center, located at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. Her master project is part of a PhD-project, called "The young elite athlete´s health"
In her master thesis, Marit will monitor the incidence and prevalence of injuries and illnesses in young elite cross country skiers at Sport elite high schools, Wang and NTG. The skiers´ health, training and competition exposure, will be compared with other endurance athletes included in the project.
