Agnethe Nilstad
PT PhDCV
Agnethe has been a post-doc at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center as part of the project “Risk factors for non-contact anterior cruciate ligament injuries in elite female handball and football players” until 2019.
She is a physiotherapist with a Master`s degree in Sports Physiotherapy from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (2008). In 2014 she defended her PhD "Injuries and risk factors in elite female football - Implications for screening and prevention” at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center. She also works 50% as a research coordinator at the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, Oslo University Hospital.
She was authorized as Specialist in Sports Physiotherapy by the Norwegian Physiotherapy Federation in 2016 and has served as physiotherapist for young elite female football players at the national teams (U15-17). She is currently working as a senior advisor at the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT).
