New sports are coming to the Olympics. New risks ????

We don't know yet, but we will get answers, says the head of the daily injury & illness monitoring, Kathrin Steffen.

While Kathrin is in charge of the IOC injury & illness surveillance, the first ever in Youth Summer Games, accompanied by Torbjørn Soligard and Lars from the IOC Med & Science Department and an international team, John Bjørneboe is the Chief Medical Officer for the Norwegian team. The IOC and NOCs get full support from a well organised Argentine medical service.

... but Youth Olympics is much more than sports. It s learn & share, education, intercultural exchanges, having fun, being prepared for a life as an elite athlete. A memorable experience for all of us here in BA!
