There has been a major focus on non-contact ACL injuries in the scientific community. However, this research has been directed towards ball/team sports such as team handball, basketball and football. However, there is also non-contact ACL injuries in other types of sports, for instance sumo wrestling. Such sports may also have different mechanisms of injuries. The purpose of this study is therefore to collect videos of sumo wrestling and analyse them using a model-based image-matching technique.
