Stein By Strømsnes is a masters degree student in biomechanics at the Norwegian School of Sport Science. His research area is sports injury prevention, with a focus on knee injuries in handball. His other subjects have been science of education and didactics in sports, and German language and culture. Stein By Strømsnes has worked as an assistant at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center. He has a special interest in biomechanical factors in sports, an interest which is due to his background as coach in martial arts. Biomechanics give him the opportunity to combine his interest in sports with his interest in computers.
