Maren Stjernen has got a bachelor degree in Physical Therapy from Høgskolen i Oslo (2006) and a master degree in Sports Physical Therapy from the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences (2009). Her master project was part of a large prospective cohort study aimed to investigate risk factors for ACL injuries among team sport athletes.
After finishing her studies, Maren went to Hjelp 24 NIMI Ullevål to work as a physio therapist. There she spends much time with rehabilitation of ACL reconstructed patients. Maren is also connected to the “Next.Gen-project” at the Olympic Training Center.
