Cartilage damage prior to surgery does not alter function in ACL injured knees

A recently published study in the ESSKA journal "Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy", demonstrates that prior to surgery, there is no difference in the function of an ACL injured knee, either with or without cartilage damage.

New review papers from the OSTRC group

A new review paper published in the ESSKA journal show that use of bisphosphonates for the treatment of stress fractures should be limited. Another review paper from the same journal revealed that short- or mid-term clinical and histological results of tissue-engineering techniques with scaffolds are not better than conventional ACI.
